Your profile
- Relevant vocational training (e.g. metal technician) with completed apprenticeship training (apprenticeship certificate) or technical college qualification (e.g. HTL).
- CNC skills and a forklift licence are an advantage.
- Independence and accuracy as well as enthusiasm and enjoyment of working with metal.

Remuneration
For the advertised position, we offer a minimum wage of EUR 3.063 gross per month, incl. SEG allowances, excl. shift allowances (14 times p.a.; as of November 2024).
The minimum salary corresponds to the classification according to the collective labour agreement for the trade association of the metalworking industry on a full-time basis in the basic level of employment group D (as of Nov. 2024). The actual salary depends on individually creditable previous service periods, relevant professional experience and/or relevant training or qualifications.
Your Tasks
- Implementation and continuous improvement, monitoring and further development of existing processes, concepts and reports in the areas of occupational health and safety for the entire company (HSE management)
- Assuming responsibility as the responsible officer in accordance with § 9 VStG in conjunction with § 23 ArbIG of a spatially and objectively delimited company area and as fire protection officer in accordance with §§ 43 and 44 AStV
- Ongoing identification and assessment of hazards and development of measures to eliminate identified defects (in relation to machines, workplaces, etc.)
- Coordinating activities and close cooperation in all matters relating to employee protection (e.g. monitoring compliance with legal requirements) with the management, all managers, safety specialists, the occupational physician and employee representatives
- Identifying training needs in the areas of occupational health and safety
- Advice on the selection, procurement and inspection of technical equipment, working materials, etc.
- Preparation of documents and distribution of safety regulations: Instruction, auditing and reporting
- Carrying out safety inspections, inspections, audits and safety training courses
Profile & Know-how
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH/Uni, or similar)
- Knowledge and experience with management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 as well as completed training as a safety specialist in accordance with ASchG are an advantage
- Additional training in safety and environmental management is an advantage
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a production company desirable
- High level of social competence, assertiveness and strong communication skills

Salary
For the advertised position, we offer a minimum salary of approx. 76,000 EUR gross per year (full-time basis, as of Nov. 2023).
The willingness to overpay depends on professional qualifications and experience.
